The MA Strategic Fashion Marketing provides a learning environment in which business graduates can develop both creative and strategic skills in fashion marketing and management. It has an established record of recruiting high calibre international and home/EU students who predominately go on to develop successful middle management fashion marketing careers across the fashion industry spectrum

Weeks 1-22: Masters Project Proposal (20 credits); Contextual Studies (20 credits); Weeks 1-12: Fashion Business Strategy (20 credits); Fashion Brand Marketing (20 credits); Weeks 13-22: International Marketing and Retail Strategies (20 credits); Marketing Communications (20 credits) Weeks 23-30: Masters Project Planning; Weeks 31-45:Masters Project (60 credits);

Part Time Mode
Year One
Weeks 1-33: Masters Project Proposal (20 credits); Contextual Studies (20 credits); Weeks 1-12: Fashion Business Strategy (20 credits); Weeks 13-22:Marketing Communications (20 credits);

Year Two
Weeks 1-3: Masters Project Proposal (continued); Weeks 4-9: Masters Project Planning; Weeks 1-12: Fashion Brand Marketing (20 credits); Weeks 13-22: International Marketing and Retail Strategies (20 credits); Weeks 10-45: Masters Project (60 credits); MA taught courses may be studied in full time or part time mode, as outlined above, or students can elect to study by Independent Project Mode on either a full time or part time basis.

The Independent Project Mode is designed for students whose area of interest lies between, or crosses, subject disciplines. This would be discussed at interview. In addition, for students unable to complete the MA, there may be an opportunity to complete a Postgraduate Diploma

You should have: * a good Honours degree in a related discipline (2:1 or above) or equivalent qualification or a minimum of 3 years industrial experience at an appropriate level * IELTS level 7 or equivalent if English is not your first languageApplicants should be articulate, well-read and culturally aware individuals who are confident in being able to contribute to contemporary debate in all aspects of fashion.Your application should include a short essay, two references and your portfolio supplied on a disc or sent electronically. Any pieces of work larger than A4 can be shown if selected for interview.Selection ProcessYour application form should include an academically structured essay entitled 'The future of 21st century fashion marketing?', a well considered short proposal for your MA dissertation and a personal statement.Selection is based initially on academic qualifications and/or previous experience, the reference, your proposal, essay and your personal statement.If selected, the interview will include a 30 minute test of your knowledge of marketing. From the interview the course team will decide if you are to be selected onto the course.
