Marketing is involved in every aspect of a well-run organisation, including activities such as advertising, sales, market research and new product development to create,promote and protect the company brand. Through understanding its customers and their needs and desires, a company can make itself, its goods or its services irresistible to consumers. Our programme explores the contemporary challenges faced by marketers operating in an increasingly competitive and globalized marketplace.
Combining traditional and digital marketing practices, our programme will provide you with the marketing knowledge and practical skills key to a successful career. You'll gain a sound understanding of specific aspects of marketing including consumer behaviour, marketing communications, brand management and market research methods, giving you invaluable experience of the creative, team-based nature of the world of marketing.
In addition to the central subject of marketing, you will study a range of complementary business modules designed to provide you with a wider understanding of business and the society in which you'll operate as a global leader of tomorrow. You'll also have the opportunity to study European Language Modules to further enhance your skills as a global graduate.
Other optional modules can be selected from a wide variety of subject areas including psychology, sociology, politics, history, communications, and other management or business related subjects, allowing you to excel as a well-rounded graduate.

Course Content

Our programme provides a comprehensive knowledge of marketing activity set within the context of business and management. At the end of your studies you will have gained a broad knowledge of international marketing activities and more specialist expertise in areas such as consumer behaviour, marketing technologies, marketing communications, brand management and market research methods.
Throughout our programme you will have opportunities to engage in ‘real life’ scenarios through live industry projects, case studies and investigations which put into practice the theoretical concepts and frameworks learned throughout the curriculum.
