This hands-free application is intended to get students engaged in food, know the science behind food and also the way the body uses it. Students find out about food preparation, processing and preservation at a specialised teaching kitchen. They will develop skills to evaluate and modify food for different people groups. Students gain invaluable industry experience at a job placement and all Nutrition classes are delivered by qualified and also Accredited Practising Dietitians with plenty of practical knowledge to talk about.
- Year 12 or equivalent
- Year 12 English, Maths and one science subject are advocated.
