Study programs in Norway

Study programs in Norway are available for young people after finishing upper secondary school education and offering its established certificate of successfully passing the secondary test. System of higher education in Norway is provided by a wide range of universities, colleges and private schools. The organ responsible for realization the educational programs of the country is the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research. Norway is a participant of the Bologna process and according to this, country`s national higher education system is divided into bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees.

Study programs in Norway

To study bachelor programs in Norway there are several basic requirements: to complete secondary education at advanced level and pass the exam at the end of the school and get a high mark for it. To study programs in Norway foreign students from some countries should complete at least one year of university studies in their country in addition. Bachelor programs in Norway last for 3 years and available in Norwegian and in English language as well.

To study master programs in Norway one should evaluate all his all achievements he has completed during the bachelor program and submit them for consideration of a special council of some Norwegian college or university. The admission of the applicant is decided by each high school individually. The duration of master programs is 2 years. The studies are offered in English language.
