Why Hospitality and Tourism?

Hospitality and Tourism is a rapidly developing area. Every year more and more people travel, and the tourism industry is growing, that means graduates can easily find a perspective, high-payed and interesting job.

Employers in hospitality area usually do not require a Masters or PhD degree, so graduates can start working just after completing their Bachelors degree.

Graduates with a degree in Hospitality and Tourism can find a job which is not connected with Hospitality and Management, as a degree in Hospitality and Tourism provides a lot of useful skills, such as good oral and written communication skills, organisation skills, teamwork, management and business skills.

One of the most pleasant feature of Hospitality and Tourism degree is the possibility of travelling. The job in Hospitality usually includes this possibility, and some universities also encourage students to spend a year studying abroad.

Program structure of Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism degree

An undergraduate study program in Hospitality and Tourism usually lasts from three to four years, the length of the study program depends on the country and institution. A graduate program usually lasts from one to two years. All study programs in Hospitality and Tourism are highly practical, they include a variety of fieldworks, internships and practicums, some programs even include a year abroad.

Many universities provide scholarships or other foundation for excellent students.

Entry requirements

Usually there aren’t any specific requirements for those who apply for an undergraduate study program in Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism. Universities always require high GPA scores or simply high grades from school. As all programs you can find on our website are taught in English, language proficiency is always mandatory. Applicants should submit TOEFL, IELTS or equivalent certificate with other application documents. Some study programs, for example, dedicated to hospitality in certain country, also require a basic knowledge of language of the country.
